Open Access Policy

Open Access Policy

The Journal of Bone and Soft Tissue Surgery (JBSS) is committed to promoting the widest possible dissemination of scientific knowledge. In line with this mission, JBSS provides immediate and unrestricted open access to all of its published content.

We firmly believe that removing financial and legal barriers to scholarly research enhances the global exchange of knowledge and accelerates scientific progress in the fields of orthopedics, bone, and soft tissue surgery.

All articles published in JBSS are made available online without subscription fees, registration requirements, or pay-per-view charges. Authors retain their copyright, and their work is distributed under a recognized open-access license, which permits readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, as well as use them for any other lawful purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original work.

By adopting this open access model, JBSS ensures that new findings are accessible not only to researchers and clinicians but also to students, policymakers, and the broader public, thereby maximizing the visibility, usage, and impact of published research.
